IA’s Students’ Choice Ground School (SCGS) is an exciting new supplement to our traditional flight school instruction.  Part social and all learning, it’s a gettogether in a relaxed and open setting with fellow students of all skill levels.


Students’ choice includes:

From mountain weather and navigation to regulations and flight planning, SCGS provides a sharing environment for pilots to learn from one another, as well as instructors, about every aspect of piloting.

Attendance & Fees
Attend all classes or pick and choose as topics are announced. Either way, tuition is $20 per session, but you can save with
our 5-for-the-price-of-4 package deals.
